Things to do in Maryland for Free

As the 24th largest city in the United States, there’s a lot of ground to cover when it comes to exploring Baltimore. One of the best ways is by using our bus charter MD services but which sights should you see, where are they and how much do they cost to visit?
One of the best things about going around Baltimore by bus is the savings you will get. Even better are the multitude of free attractions that dot the city. Here’s a list of some of the best things you can do in Baltimore and the surrounding areas of Maryland for free.
First up, there’s the Baltimore Museum of Art that organizes and presents a variety of dynamic exhibitions and innovative programs throughout the year and frequently hosts special events with cultural and educational partners. One interesting thing to note about this museum is that it is home to the largest and most significant Matisse works in the world.
If you prefer the outdoors, make the Harborplace Amphitheater a must see on your list. Tucked away between the Harborplace Pavilions, the grounds around Amphitheater play host to daily free performances from singers, dancers, magicians and street performers in the daytime, says many of our bus charter MD customers.
Be prepared to while away your weekend nights listening to live, free concert performances featuring musical styles the likes of Motown, funk, jazz, oldies, blues, R&B, country and everything else in between.
For movie buffs, free films are featured on Wednesday nights on the Broadway Pier in Fell’s Point; Thursday nights see free films sponsored by the American Visionary Art Museum screening on Federal Hill while Friday nights see Italian themed movies being showcased at the intersection of High and Stiles streets in Little Italy; whilst free feature films are screened at in front of Shriver Hall Johns Hopkins University.

Or, you can always take in the enticing sights, sounds and scents at Baltimore's public markets such as Baltimore's Cross Street Market in Federal Hill, Lexington Market near the Hippodrome theater and the Broadway Market in Fell's Point.
